Ioannis Theofanous has been involved in Kickboxing since 1987. At the end of 1994 he played his first Full Contact match ending with a Knock Out (K.O.) victory in the second round. From then until 2004, he took part in 46 Kickboxing matches in which he has 42 wins with 8 KO’s and 4 losses. From 2000 to 2004 he took part in 13 Boxing matches winning 11 of them.

As a Kickboxing coach, Ioannis Theofanous started teaching in 1997, while in 2000, by founding the Fight Club Galatsi, he managed with the appearances of his athletes to establish himself in the elite of coaches of P.O.K. (P.K.F. – Panhellenic Kickboxing Federation).

In 2005 until the end of 2017, he was appointed, federal coach of Kickboxing in POK. In August 2005, he was the lecturer of the 1st Kick Boxing school in Halkidiki, which was a reference point for coaching degrees recognized by the state and the granting of the first licenses to practice the profession OF KICKBOXING COACH. Since 2009, and after the delivery of his Thesis in F.I.M.A. University of Martial Arts, in England, he also holds a Bachelor in Martial Arts.

In addition, he holds a coaching degree in the sport of Muay Thai and is a founding member and head coach in Striking of the Panhellenic Federation of Mixed Martial Arts (PFMMA).

During all these years, Fight Club Galatsi produces champions, amateurs and professionals, who star in the global rings, winning the biggest titles and participating in the main cards of top professional events.

Many top Kick Boxing athletes have emerged from his hands as well as teachers who train in the best schools of Athens and in the largest chains of gyms in Attica.

Theofanous Elite Team was founded by Ioannis Theofanous. Each of its events stands out for its perfect organization, the flawless flow of the matches, the successful matchmaking, the fair and certified refereeing, but above all for the deep knowledge of the sport and its regulations.

  • 2023 – Organizing of the Super Seminar World Series – Athens 2023, with the legend Andy Souwer as the leader.
  • 2023 – Organizing of the World Kickboxing Series – Athens 2023, the 1st WKS held in Europe, with invited legend Andy Souwer, and creation and assumption of representation of WKS Greece.

  • 2006 – Organization of a seminar with Ramon Dekkers as the leader, at the indoor stadium of Galatsi and Organizer of professional matches in honor of Ramon Dekkers
  • 2006 – Presenter of Kickboxing seminars in Jordan and Syria.
